While storyboarding on Up, I always thought it would be funny to see the extended reactions of the people who saw Carl's house fly away. I pitched the idea, and was fortunate enough to create 'George and AJ'. And now it's available to check out on Pixar's Facebook page HERE .
I recommend watching this after you've seen Up. It may make more sense. And if you haven't seen Up, go buy 2 copies. One for each eyeball!

Now presented in glorious You-Tube-O-Rama!

That is aesome, man! Is this going to be on the dvd?
I hope you don't mind me asking a technical question, but is this what pixar story reels look like? Or is this just something completely different?
BTW did you have anything to do with AJ's label sticking out of his shirt in the movie, I thought that was a great. Thanks for sharing!

Very funny, and your blog is so nice ! Keep it up !
Simply brilliant! This is my new fave of all the pixar shorts.
Josh! Aren't you going to make a continuation to The Loneliest Unicorn on Earth sometime soon? Can't wait to see how that all turns out!!
OMG! - that doesn't sound like Russell at all!
I used all scratch voices (except for Dug), so for George and AJ, Russell was voiced by the amazing (and huggable) Pete Sohn....the original scratch voice for Russell in the Up story reels.
That was awesome!
Man, I always get a good laugh from your ideas. Awesome artwork in your blog!!!
I personally want to see the reactions on the old folks' home's people's (too much possesive?) when they run out of gas and have to come back to the troposphere...
Great short--one of my favorites, in fact! I'm really happy Pixar is open to more style in shorts...anyway great blog I love it!
